We are excited to announce the 2014 ZOE Conference – “Loved”. Mark your calendars NOW, for October 17-19 at the Otter Creek Church in Nashville. Early registration for this year’s conference will open in early July.

What does it look like to be loved? We experience love through relationship. Sometimes, we’ve defined love based on human attempts and failures. When you think about God, is your initial thought, “I am loved?” Do you operate out of a foundation that He so loved you that He gave His Son for you to receive and believe in? Too often, we give fear, failure, and judgment the best seats at the table. Too often we view how we’re loved through those lenses. We forget what God has said about Himself and about us.

When God passed in front of Moses in Exodus 36, He proclaimed these words about Himself… “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.” This song is echoed over and over throughout scripture. 1 John 3:1 says, “How great is the love the Father has LAVISHED on you, that you would be called sons and daughters of God. And that is what we are!” Paul asks in Romans, “What can separate us from this great love?”

Many of us need a re-set button. We need realignment. Life, work, family, ministry, failure and sin can so weigh us down that it’s hard to hear the defining voice of truth…the voice that reminds us where all things begin and end. God is Love. This is a message for the world…but it begins in your own heart. Come spend a weekend of realignment with us as we center our hearts on His truth and experience the power of the real presence of the Spirit revealing His love to our hearts. God doesn’t just feel feelings of love for us. He IS, in fact, LOVE. And you-you are LOVED.

More details will be available prior to the start of registration. We hope you will mark your calendars now and plan to join us this fall!

The ZOE Group is proud to announce the release of the newest ZOE worship project Here With Us, a seasonal praise and worship project focused on Advent. The entire project has been bathed in prayer, and it was a profound gift for the ZOE singers to be back in the studio recording these songs. We pray that this collection of songs will help bring you and your church closer to the throne of God in worship. The project is available now in CD form in the ZOE Online Store, or for digital download at iTunes, Amazon.com, and other digital music stores.

Greetings, ZOE friends, old and new! We are excited to announce that the 2013 ZOE Worship Conference, “Here With Us”, will be held in Nashville, TN at the Otter Creek Church on October 25-27. This year our conference and CD will have a Christmas theme…specifically, Advent. Advent teaches us what “God with us” really means. Advent is about waiting…, waiting on the Lord, watching for Him, believing in Him… even when He is silent. Advent celebrates the absolute truth that God is faithful and that His steadfast love is present, even in difficult times, to bring a deep peace unlike anything we’’ve ever experienced. It takes what can become a very commercial holiday season that can leave us empty and lonely and infuses it with life and hope.

Recently, some of the other ZOE singers who are also worship ministers and I had a conversation about the things that are most helpful to us. We asked the question, “What would WE want and need in a conference?” Well, we love to worship. So, we want to have great times of celebratory and heart-felt worship as the ZOE Group leads us (including a Saturday afternoon worship session with song writer and worship artist, Carl Cartee from Fellowship Bible Church in Nashville). We also want some inspiring Biblical feeding. So our key note speakers, Mike Cope, Jonathan Storment and Jeff Walling will take us deep into the Word.

We also need tools…tools to help us be better at this calling on our lives. So, we’ve worked hard this year to broaden our break-out sessions to address both topical and thematic things like Josh Ross’s and John Mark Hicks’s classes all about waiting on the Lord, while also offering practical worship ministry, technical, and hands-on creative and inspiring classes. We hope that some of these classes about leading praise teams, innovative lighting ideas, worship planning, caring for your voice, innovative ways of using art, Planning Center, and more will help you not only leave feeling refreshed spiritually, but also equipped to do the technical parts of your job.

And, back by popular demand, we’re doing another New Music Pre-Conference to kick off the weekend! In addition to the great new music we’ll learn at the conference from the upcoming ZOE CD “Here With Us,” New Music Nashville will provide an opportunity for attendees to discover even more great new songs for worship. Beginning on Friday morning, attendees will have a chance to learn a dozen new songs with Randy Gill, DJ Bulls and rehearsal accompanist Jerry Reed. These selections are brand new arrangements in a variety of styles that will be wonderful additions to your church’’s repertoire in the coming year. A folio of the new music by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Israel Houghton and others is included in the price of the Pre-Conference. You won’’t want to miss this opportunity to be part of what one participant last year called “the greatest a cappella worship choir ever assembled!” The songs are great, the singing is incredible and it’s just a blast! You won’t want to miss New Music Nashville!

We know how hard it can be to take time away from your home church — whether you’re a volunteer or a full-time minister. We know it’s difficult to make time to go other places on the days when your job seems to count the most. But it’s YOU we have in mind as we’ve carefully begun painting this canvas that will be “Here With Us”. We’re planning all sorts of surprises this year…and don’t want you to miss even one of them. We would love for you to stay through the weekend and then worship with us Sunday morning too as Mike Cope and the ZOE Group close out the conference.

My prayer is that the Lord would begin building excitement and anticipation in your hearts as we look ahead to October 25th when we will gather and experience the Lord in ways that will shape our lives and ministries. I’m praying that these hope inspired words, “God with us”, will begin to just haunt you….ring in your ears…and surround you on days of trouble and in times of rejoicing.

Visit our conference information page for more information and to register. Sign up now! Do it! I promise, this is one ZOE Conference you won’t want to miss. I’ll see you in October! I CAN. NOT. WAIT!

We are pleased to announce that the 2013 ZOE Worship Conference, “Here With Us”, will be October 25-27 in Nashville, TN at the Otter Creek Church! This year we will be focusing on the season of Advent. Christmas… the happiest time of the year? Often we feel pressure to feel that way based on the way the media and movies portray the holidays. However, Advent teaches us what “God with us” really means. Advent is about waiting… waiting on the Lord, watching for Him, believing in Him… even when He is silent. Advent celebrates the absolute truth that God is faithful and that His steadfast love is present, even in difficult times, to bring a deep peace unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Come and join us as we celebrate Emanuel, God with us. Mark your calendars and plan to attend this year’s conference October 25-27 in Nashville! ZOE will be releasing a new CD this fall to fit with our theme on Advent. We are excited and hope to see all of you there! More information about the conference will be released in the coming months. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email kim@zoegroup.org.

Happy New Year!

From the entire ZOE family… May God richly bless you in 2013!

THOUGHTS FROM RANDY GILL….

September 25, 2012

If your ministry year has been like mine, you know that money has been tight. It’s a challenging economy and churches have been hit hard. I’ve found myself second guessing every single purchase. Can we afford $9.99 for another Passion CD? Is this video really strong enough to justify spending $19.95 if I’m only going to use it once? I’m guessing you can relate.

That inner struggle has been especially fierce when it comes to special events and conferences. I absolutely love the spiritual boost I get from attending annual gatherings where the worship is great and the fellowship is greater. But I’ve had to cut back. I think we all have. I’ve stayed home. And I’ve missed something.

I know there are some of you who have had an ongoing inner debate about the ZOE conference since it was first advertised in the spring. It’s been three years since the last one. You can still remember the incredible weekends you’ve spent in Nashville or other cities around the country, learning the new ZOE songs, hearing from Mike Cope, Randy Harris and others, going to helpful classes that gave you new tools for your ministry. You smile when you think of the great conversations you’ve had with people who share your unique call to ministry in a unique tribe. Most of all, though, you remember the worship. There’s just nothing quite like it.

You want to come. But money’s tight.

I want to encourage you to come anyway. Sure you can pick up the CD on iTunes or through the online store. Yes, you can download the scores through fearless4you.com. The one thing you can’t get by staying home, however, is the EXPERIENCE. If you’ve been to a ZOE conference before, you know what I’m talking about. You need to be here precisely BECAUSE it’s been a rough year for many of us! That’s why we chose the topic “Faithful.” For one unforgettable weekend in Georgia hundreds of us will come together and celebrate a God who is bigger than our biggest struggles. I want you to be a part of that.

It’s not too late. Come join us.

After nearly 3 years, The ZOE Group is proud to announce the release of the newest ZOE worship project “Faithful.” The entire project has been bathed in prayer, and it was a profound gift for the ZOE singers to be back in the studio recording these songs. We pray that this collection of songs will help bring you and your church closer to the throne of God in worship. The project is available now in CD form in the ZOE Online Store, or for digital download at iTunes, Amazon.com, and other digital music stores.

We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2012 ZOE Worship Conference is now OPEN!  Our team has been working hard to create a one-of-a-kind weekend that will be a blessing to your church.

This will be our first major conference in three years and we are SO excited to be coming back together with friends from around the country for a time of great worship, inspiring classes and unmatchable fellowship.

In addition to the new music we’ll learn at the conference from the new ZOE CD Faithful, we’re adding an opportunity to discover even more new songs with an optional pre-conference version of New Music Atlanta, the new music showcase we started in Atlanta last fall.

For more information, visit the conference registration site.

We are excited to announce that the new ZOE project, “Faithful” is finally completed! We want to especially thank all of our donors who gave financially to help us make this project happen. Through the selfless hearts of all of our donors, we were able to raise $28,000!! Thank you for believing in our mission and walking with us as we continue to minister through music. We absolutely could not have done it without all of you and are deeply grateful.

“Faithful” will first be available at a very special worship night led by ZOE at Otter Creek Church in Nashville, TN on Wednesday evening August 15th, at 7 pm. Feel free to call our office for more information.

The CD will be available in our online ZOE store for $15 beginning on August 20th, and will be released to iTunes and other digital stores at a later date.

Join us Wednesday, August 15th at Otter Creek Church and be the first to purchase your new CD! Thank you so much for your continued support!

Although we were slightly under our goal of raising $30,000, thanks to the huge generosity of many ZOE supporters, we were able to raise enough funds to begin the recording process for a brand new ZOE worship project (more information to come). For those of you who contributed with prayers and financial support, we are deeply grateful. And we pray that the ZOE worship resources will continue to minister in your lives and in the lives of your churches.
